I have been to a family funeral today and this was a message on one of the cards on a bunch of flowers.

It's one of those Latin phrases which means something far different to how it sounds.Joe Public wrote:"pax vobiscum"
There are sections of the telecommunications industry which will tell you it ought to mean 'this internal telephone exchange is total rubbish'.
