"24 hour" bugs are no myth, but exactly how long they actually last is determined by other factors - mainly your own general health.

As I know you like the mechanics, do some reading on T-lymphocyte cells in the immunoglobulin supergene family (IgSF).

Your ability to fight infections fluctuates quite wildy based on all kinds of things. Being in a foul mood does you no good at all, apparently.

A stinker of a sore throat did the rounds at my work last week. I was floored for a day and a half, as was the M.D. Oh how the lads had fun speculating on that.

Anyway I'm tip-top now.

Had exactly the same thing. Yesterday was full of cold! But I wake up this morning feeling fine! Very strange. Well I'm not complaining...

All this reminds me to get my flu jab next week. I'm in the 'vulnerable' category. Even more so this year than before. See, didn't even need 'Enry Cooper with an unnecessarily large plaster on his arm to remind me. ;)

Hmmm the typical "Man Flu" virus. It's really a cold but because we're male it's the flu and we're at deaths door.

This 24hour bug has struck quite big recently however I'm lucky not to have got it when everyone else around me has. I was always told to make sure I have plenty Vitamin C in me and I started healthy eating around 3 weeks ago and I haven't had a sniffle or anything wrong with me in these 3 weeks.
