BBC and ITV News - SEXIST?

I am struck by the increasing beauty of the news and weather presenters on television.

Catherine Marston (grrr!), Helen Willetts, Fiona Bruce, Gillian Ni C, Kate Sanderson, etc on BBC News.

And the gorgeousness of the (all-female) reporting team on Channel Report is breathtaking.

Are women now being chosen on appearance over ability?

She is also gorgeous, but was she the best person for the job?

Is the casting couch alive and well at Auntie?

I don't know about Tamzin really - she was perfect for Liquid News, and I suppose that's enough to get her London Tonight Entertainment Correspondent person thing. But seeing her co-present the programme on Friday? Errrr... Nope. Having said that, London Tonight seems to have morphed into Wheel of Fortune lately so who knows. But that's veering into TVF territory.
