Everybody has things that they cannot go without. Luxury goods that just demand to be purchased, or things that only a select few people know about, but deserve to be used by all.
Mine...
Boots Botanics Clay Mask

In fact, probably the entire Botanics range. It's increadible.
Holland and Barrett Tan Tablets
http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/pages/ ... D=373&np=3
Better than fake tan, and much cheaper, but take about 15 days to take effect.
http://www.ciao.co.uk and http://www.dooyoo.co.uk
These websites are amazing. Everyone should consult these before they buy ANYTHING.
Lava lamp, and nice lighting in general (Argos are very good this year). Very good for watching pointlessly instead of writing an essay.
Sainsbury's.
Just generally. I hate every other supermarket. Sainsbury's might be slightly more expensive, but they have more products, nicer staff and stores, and better quality stuff than anywhere else.
Toblerone.
Enough said.
Anyone else care to share their necessities?

What do they tan like? Do they make you look like a Strathclyde Bus or are they subtle enough?
Well, I've not gone orange, put it that way.
I wouldn't say that you should expect to turn into an olive-skinned beauty overnight... or indeed at all. For starters, they are supposed to take quite a while to have any significant effect (about 15 days) and you do need to combine it with a little sun exposure it says.
I don't think it is a replacement for fake-tan, to be honest. P.s. avoid Piz Buin if you're going for that... but you should notice some difference. I think it just helps to speed up the tanning process by just producing more melanin. I only say they are ''better'' because they do not come with the problems of fake tan -- staining, potential disasters, that nasty phase when they start to fade...
If you want to get brown without leaving the house at all, http://www.virilityhealth.co.uk does something, but I have never used it and it is fairly expensive for what it is.

You'll end up like Mandy Dingle I tells ya!
Anyway, I'm far from being Lisa Riley, in that over the last two months or so, I've lost 4 pounds in weight..........

For me at the minute it is Mars Delight, which I constantly have every time I am on the way out of work. (Well it doesn't help if Morrisons have a kiosk selling sweets etc)
Also I like the Wrigleys Extra Mints, they are very nice indeed, prefer them to Tic Tac's.
Plus Nuts (the magazine) is like a neccessity for me now, even though some of them can be poorer than others, plus I actually like and use the TV Guide.
