Agreed. I too have been converted. My only probs are the slighty auful Google bar and the way it loads an image with the no image before the image loads, rather it be blank first. But top notch compared to IE.

I'm not going to bash IE as rubbish compared to Firefox, but still, the tabs, the pop-up blocker, the download manager, it's such a *fab* browser.

I know there may be a day eventually when Firefox is as vulnerable as IE to attack so I won't damn IE as useless and state that I'll never go back to it, but for the moment... Firefox all the way!

You should be able to remove that by right-clicking next to it, clicking Customise, and then dragging it into the box that appears.

I have to agree, just switched to Mozilla Firefox today, and it is so much better. I finally got fed up of all the bugs and what have you that comes with IE. I'll probably only have to use IE again for Windows Update, and testing web pages.

By the way, for anyone disappointed by the rubbish Google search box in Firefox, and want something more akin to the offical Google Toolbar for IE, check out this extension to Firefox: http://googlebar.mozdev.org/

As it is always in development, it will probably have bugs in, and it is slightly less configurable than the offical IE Google Toolbar, but it has most of the offical features, and some extras too. Finding this was what convinced me to switch over.

I think you'll find it's not a googlebar. It's a search bar that can be customised to use any search engine you want.

Yes, just noticed that now, so its not as rubbish as I thought, but I prefer a more advanced thing like the googlebar extension with advanced buttons etc.
