Well I never Netto was coming back to the UK.

This is standard practice for supermarkets. Aldi and Sainsbury's, for example, have a finder's fee (the latter for Local stores).

The North/North East was where Netto had the highest concentration of stores initially. I'm guessing their previous sales data will be informing their decision. It makes sense to concentrate in one area for operational efficiencies to begin with. I'm sure if they're successful they wont delay in rolling out.

Like many so called UK companies, Netto had NO Scottish store. It would do rather well in some part if its come a bit further north.

My local big tesco is having its second refurb in as many years right now. I went last night and they appear to be replacing all the old cream shelving with a quite nice-looking dark grey equivalent.

The HORRIBLE bright yellow aisle end units survived the last revamp - I wonder if they'll survive this one too?

These should go, they went my local Tesco got a refit a few months ago.
