YAAAAY!!!!!!!

By the way, does "Gone for good" mean "permanant banning even after signing up again under a lame pseudonym"? :)

One more like that and you're gone for good.

You think I'm going to allow your hate comments under the pretence of humour?

Try me, James.
I always envisioned of you as a moderator who made promises, not threats! Surely you can't backtrack on that now? (TBH I don't understand why you want a member who repeatedly and intently defies everything you say, in some sort of bizarre 'revenge' on Metropol)

It's a pretty big step to take, because it would be an "enforced" ban. There really would be no way back. It has been done. Ask another perma-banned member who shall remain nameless. Not that you can, of course.

I questioned whether my approach had been too strict over the weekend, but have since decided that it wasn't.

One final written warning has been issued.

I get the sense that I am being tested. Anyone who knows me well knows its probably not a good idea.

You really don't see the problem, do you?

We're really steering towards a nanny state in Metropol at the moment!

I'm shocked at the amount of political correctness that has creeped in this year. Firstly said other member has been kicked out - unfairly so. Infact I can't even remember what it was they were banned for. A far cry from the days he was moderating this forum.

I don't see the problem with a few near-the-knuckle jokes. But if we're going to become all politically correct and black-friendly, then so be it.

Right now though MP24/7 is heading the way of the other place faster than the moderation here would give it credit for.

I fear for this forum in the next two years.
"Near the knuckle" humour is perhaps making a joke about Thora Hird's colostomy bag, or turning up at a fancy dress party as Steve Irwin with a stingray hanging from your chest (as South Park recently showed).

Making "jokes" about killing all black people because they are black isn't funny. It's deeply offensive, to me, and other members of the board. It perpetuates racism, and is used by small men who want to elavate themselves over other creeds.

Here's a newsflash: It makes you look pathetic. I heard most of those jokes in the school playground, and I'm glad to say I haven't heard again them intil now.

This has fuck all to do with being "politically correct". That's the lamest excuse I've ever heard. Take some personal responsibility for yourself. YOU are responsible for the things you say and do, and that means you better be prepared for the outcome.

And since your memory seems to be a little hazy; our one-time moderator deleted and locked more threads in 5 days than had been done since the day Metropol opened.

But don't let the facts stand in the way of your little rant.

Just remember - if you don't like it here or disagree with the rules, then you can go. This site is free at the point of use, so try to keep that in mind when you lambast it.
