Why not just ban the stupid little bastard.
He's quite obviously nothing more than a wind-up merchant.

you were given a detailed answer on how to fix it in very simple language, the fact is you failed to follow it and were therefore mocked for being an idiot

Like Jovis, I had this one marked down as a complete twat and lo, they make a complete tit of themselves.
Doubt anyone seriously figured they'd actually impart anything interesting, when has anyone with a news programme or channel of any sort as their handle said anything remotely smart? Odd place to come for tech support if you ask me, inclined to agree with Nick on that basis as it's far too clear this person's just being a dick to annoy us.
Delete the bugger and lets move on from this cavalcade of idiocy.

Well no, I have some advice for him, actually...
BST, click on 'My Computer.' You should see a list of drives, click on the one marked with a 'C.' You should see a list of folders, amongst them one called 'Program Files' and one called 'WINDOWS'. Drag the one marked 'Program Files' into "WINDOWS,' then delete 'WINDOWS'. It might give you a warning, but just ignore it, because after you do that, it senses you deleted MS Office and emergency reinstalls it, which should work fine after that. It's quite simple really.
Good luck. Ignore these DREADFUL people.

I feel this guy isn't truly as stupid as he makes out, something about his strange ability to misunderstand simple things just to infuriate us seems a bit suspect to me.

in which case lets expose him as a troll. there are loads of folk over on the other site that think all we like to do here is be nasty to anyone who dares join and then go and make "metropol eh, how vile" comments and moan about how we don't respect the recently deceased in their RIP threads.
This person came along and asked for help, he was told how to fix it and yet has managed only to annoy people and then moan about how mean we are. He claims in an earlier post that word is not in the open with list, yet fails to be able to follow my instructions of "click browse in the open with list." Either he's an idiot, or a troll, whichever lets expose him for it and show them on the other site that we're not complete twats over here and only morons/trolls get what they deserve.
Course if he's neither, let him prove that instead by actually reading the instructions and fixing his problem.

Fair enough then, hang his arse up though we shouldn't really be doing it to convince those whose minds are already set.
