I was a freelance radio journo at the time, so phoned up my local BBC station after I'd heard the news to see if they needed any help. Got a day's paid work out of it. Cheers Di!
It was quite funny vox-ing members of the public on that day. Quite a few people told me it was all my fault, being in the media. Strange, despite all the stories, I don't remember anyone reporting a BBC local radio car flying through the tunnel in Paris in hot pursuit of Lady Di.
