In view of the comment naming me I thought I ought to respond. I have never lorded it, expressed extreme views or forced my opinions on anyone in this forum.

I reply to discussions and hopefully provide a positive input to the same value as most other forumers. I have today, however, reacted strongly where someone has placed ill-conceived, illogical posts which have no basis in fact which I found quite deeply offensive.

May I suggest Stu that you dig up some old Morrisons threads, where the "poor North, affluent South" argument has oft been cited for the company's failings at Safeway

To generalise half of England on the basis of a grocery company's annual report is not what I would call an accurate or sound debate. The North of England is far from poor, and the South is far from affluent.

Unfortunately Leicestershire doesn't seem to have developed a stereotype yet which I can ridicule - unless you intend to offer yourself as one - which would be quite bad for house prices I imagine.

You seem to be the sort of narrow-minded person who can only even read every 5th word in the Daily Sport, and see it as your version of Encyclopaedia Britannica. For someone who wants a career in media you have a remarkable lack of knowledge about what more than a handful number of people would be prepared to listen to or read.
