I like how (apparently) Anne has been briefed on becoming the Queen of Scotland, in the event of separation. Imagine brother and sister on adjoining thrones.

The earn more than they cost, and they fascinate the rest of the world.

What's not to love about them?
Awww, Gavin. We agree on something!

I love this video of the Queen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAGoqXCgq8U
I mis-spoke. I meant to say, "off with their heads".

Wasn't sure whether to start a new thread or not:

Does anybody else think that this Kate woman sounds a lot like a stalker?

Either way, (*another*) day off in Spring time never goes amiss.

I wouldn't say she was a stalker as such..
The rumour that she had a photo of him on her wall is apparently untrue, and they met by mistake. She seems nice, and I don't think she deserves some of the bad press that she receives.

Yay for another day off as well.

The internet appears to have erupted with an explosion of miserable, anti-social fuckers declaring "I'm not going to any street party - they can't make me!!" and doom & gloom incarnate republicans whinging about the cost of the royal wedding, which is quite funny because they're usually the selfsame people who champion throwing taxpayers' money at the private sector as a way of boosting the economy (when actually they're just putting it back where it came from in the first place). Do these mardy-arsed cretins think the money is going on a bonfire or something?? Not to mention the Royal Family puts more money into the treasury than it takes out. ffs.

There's a good sweeping generalisation that pretty much nullifies your entire statement!

I'm just satisfied that someone has used the phrase "mardy arse". I've missed it!
