you should have photographed it. Whenever I've seen you on webcam you have a permanent wide eyed stare.

That's because he uses that webcam for a *reason*

Still, it's an improvement, even after the flat above us stole our wreath *sob*.
Well steal it back!

Am I a tightwad too or does anyone else think tinsel is more expensive than it needs to be? You never get as much as you'd think for a quid in Poundland :(

Tinsel is definately quality over quantity. I know this how? Cos the expensive stuff from 5 years ago is still in tact and the cheapo stuff from last year is almost threadbare. Ok they were all tangled up together in the box but the expensive stuff came out of the detangling the winner. I've done this experiment every year for the past few years. Oh and don't buy expensive baubles if you have cats as lodgers in your house.

I know. They've got NO taste and insist on using their own cheapo ones at the front of the tree.

Wrong Ands. The problem is. They have good taste and the expensive baubles are way more fun to play with.Mouse says.... " if you bat them enough they fall off the twinkly tree, you can then knock them across the room until they shatter, the cheapo ones just bounce off the skirting.and as a cat if you're really clever. You can adopt that innocent look and the brown hound gets the blame."

Pfft!! Who's he trying to be? Dr Who's sidekick or something. Al would never do business with that ugly looking feline.

All the pubs in my area have got their deccies up now. Some good efforts from most of the pubs, but my local looks shit. The tree is bare, and there's random bits of tinsel everywhere. Looks awful. However, at the members club, they've stuck the Christmas Tree on the top of the steps leading to the stage where the dartboards are, so it's difficult to get on the stage.
