The first time must have been singing (as part of a choir) on Gwlad y Gan (Land of Song) for TWW in the late fifties.
I think the next time was handing a guitar to Nina and Frederick on an appeal for the Salisbury Cathedral spire restoration fund on Southern, sometime in the sixties.
The rest, as they say.....................

I was in the background of a live interview of my headteacher on Central News (west) 11 or 12 years ago. Can't remember what it was about, probably when one of the teachers caught TB and we all had to have vaccinations. Kevin Ashford came and it was all jolly exciting
One of My Kind of People's cameras definitely filmed me when they were filming an episode at my local shopping mall in the late nineties
I also phoned up mailbox once but they didn't use my message

I have yet to see Andy Crane in Manchester yet, though AIUI they do it first thing in the morning. But I can say I've seen the same Channel M reporter and cameraman twice in the same week.

Nothing too exciting:
DIY-TV (1992) - a local Tyne Tees show: discussing the Newcastle riots
Families (1993) - an extra seen somewhere in the background at MMU Didsbury
That's about it really. Met a few TV stars and announcers (who hasn't?) and I once sold a train ticket (Leeds City to Burnham, Bucks - Supersaver Return) to YTV's Paul Lally.
When I grow up I want to be in a re-make of Rentaghost, playing the hind legs of the pantomime horse.
