Nah, let's throw OS/2 into the equation. Now if that had won and not Windows...Chris wrote:Apple won the "war" and Microsoft lost?
Wouldn't be writing this, end of.TV Forum never existed?
Too many things. You had a time machine and could travel back a few years? What would you change?
Still be living in the land of a broadband desert I reckon and ridiculous call charges.BT were still owned by the Government?
Nobody would care I reckon, because if it still had the same half cooked render engine with tabbed browsing support, not even a built-in ability to make breakfast in bed would have made it any more exciting.I don't think people would have cared.Netscape 4.x (great in it's heyday, but obsolete now) had been the first browser to offer tabbed browsing?

What If.................
Margaret Thatcher hadn't wrecked our country? We would have been more civilised
Saddam Hussein never existed? Iraq wouldn't have been in a mess and the two gulf wars would NEVER have happened
If terrorism never existed? There would be peace all around

What if Tombas47 posted a picture of himself, so I could recognise him in Tesco's?
I miss Tesco. The nearest one to me is in Penarth just down the road, but it's hardly big. It's more of a Tesco Metro, although it does have a filling station (which now closes at midnight!)
The next closest Tesco would be Culverhouse Cross, but that's not much bigger than a shoebox either and is in desperate need of revamping. I heard that they were going to re-build that one.
And finally, the Tesco in Cardiff which is my favourite involves a winding, traffic-light ridden car journey through the city centre to get to Llandaf. Offically the biggest Tesco in Wales. It's HUGE!
Pointless me thinking about Tesco, though as every single of one of them is currently closed until 10am tomorrow morning. Bloody antiquated Sunday trading laws.
