Mind you, if you had read the Scottish red-tops the day after the match you would scarecely have known Liverpool won.
We had the same Celtic story about Martin O'Neil on both the front and back page.
I didn't bother buying a paper. Football is a crashing bore.

On Sunday I got caught between hoardes of crowds from Easter Road (where I live and also home to Hibernian), and Murrayfield Stadium (home of rugby). The football crowd blended into the rugby crowd and the latter were nicer looking and sounding and were generally more pleasant to be crushed on a bus with.
What's that all about then?
