Not sure on Now 19 (the Stonk) & Now 30 (Love can build a bridge) it says some of the profits go towards Comic Relief. However wether or not if you bought these albums in HMV, six months after they were released, that the proceds go still went to Comic Relief I'm not entirely sure???
BTW It's no longer Number 1, AKON is apparently :roll: according to CDUK this morning

Yep, Akon is number one. Am I the only one who thought it was an advert for a new Sweetie The Chick ringtone when it first came on the radio? It really is sodding awful. If you thought you were sick of hearing Tony Christie, just give this song a few weeks.

And there was also Bananarama and Lananeeneenoo's "Help" on Now 14, which even had a Comic Relief logo and mentioned that royalties were going to the charity.
Ditto with Now 11 and Wet Wet Wet's Childline song.

But it's not just pop that is shyte nowadays (trying not to sound like an old git)
Even Urban music is shyte now. Go back to the early 199o's where Soul II Soul where the top r'n'b act. Sadly they split up in 1995.
The Spice Girls are the start of manufactured bollocks, which has sadly continued since 1996.
Am I also the only one fed up with these "Ghetto Men" who had a hard life in the Bronx
