Ok, now this may seem indelicate, but I have a burning need to know.
You know how, on cold days like today, one can see one's breath in the air like a little puff of smoke?
Does that also apply to bottom breaths?
I've been eating a lot of rice lately, which has allowed me to drop 8Kg in just three months (yay), but that does mean on the walks to and fro work I've been gently tooting away.
I'm deeply concerned that this will be visually obvious to anyone else nearby. The smell I'm unconcerned about, as it really is a fragrant nosegay.
Please respond.
VERY important question

I'm going to guess no, not if the mix coming out dominated by methane as we're led to believe. Methane has a high vapour pressure, which means it doesn't condense onto the particles in the air as readily as water vapour does. If you get it cold enough (inhumanly cold) then you'd have some issues, but unsightly assgas would not be high among them.

That's just the level of detail I needed.

This thread is brilliant! I see where you're coming from (and I can well imagine getting paranoid about something like this myself) but if farts made steam kids would be joking about it in the playground all the time. It'd be something you were quite aware of from a very early age. I mean come on, how hilarious would kids find that? I think I'd still find it hilarious actually.
