I brought him up as he receives far more indulgence than any other poster over there ever would.

Positive discrimination, anyone?

And yes, it IS up to them to respond. Just as it is my free will to object.

I wouldn't indulge his every comment, no. Nobody deserves total tolerance, not on any grounds.

So we're all agreed, TT is a freak and shouldn't ever return to this forum.

Good.

I'm just getting sick and tired of all this talk about Tumble Tower.

Surely giving him acres of forum space is the exact response he craves with his (and i put this mildly) idiosyncracies.

Aspergers, autism, ADHD, eccentricity, whatever it is, surely it's all designed (intentionally or otherwise) to provoke a response. By responding and by giving him the attention he craves, surely we are no better than him. Rising to his bait is no better than his baiting itself.

Something really doesn't ring quite true about it just being anything like was suggested earlier in this thread. There's an element of sheer bloody awkwardness and weirdness to TT on top of it.
Have to say I'm inclined to agree about some people being deliberately awkward and using their condition as an excuse for it. I've witnessed this plenty of times. Having seen the photos and videos of TT on YouTube though I think it's fair to assume he's genuinely unaware of how he comes across.

Wouldn't it be better if everybody simply ignored him? I doubt he appreciates social interaction, if his condition really is that bad (writing monologues on forums and in private messages doesn't count as wanting interaction - it seems to be very much a one-way thing as far as he's concerned) so it's not like ignoring him would be a nasty thing to do.

That's actually quite a good point, I think he'd be quite content writing his drivvel with nobody replying, his occasional bits of chat are very small in comparison to his endless endless pages of tripe.

Perhaps someone should encourage him to start a blog therefore making things such as the Eurovision thread readable again.

I was typing a really good reply to that as well. I'm not letting it go to waste!

Bet the draw gets it's highest ratings ever though.
My morals are not the issue, and frankly as you don't know me personally you have no justification for even criticising my morals. The point of the post was to confirm that there will be a Lottery Draw. FYI, I object to the sales of Lottery and scratchcard tickets being made so easy due to the sector of people who buy them can usually ill afford them. However, that is a political view and not relevant on this thread. Please be a little less judging in the future. Thank you.
If they can't afford them they shouldn't buy them. Idiots.

This "sector" you're generalising about probably spends ten times as much on alcohol as they do on lottery tickets and scratchcards. Should the government stop them buying alcohol as well? It's another luxury they can ill afford, after all.

Honestly you'd think people were no longer responsible for their own actions. If grown up, low income earners want to spend their money on scratchcards that's their choice. If it ends up ruining their lives, then again, it's their fault. They're not your responsibility. Stop worrying on behalf of other people and get on with your own life.

I just re-downloaded a program called Evernote which I seemed to stop using last year, I liked to clip things from my screen, I found this little snapshot of TVF from 20th of december last year.

How things change...

Wonder what their Christmas effort will be this year?

Also noticed this from Boxing Day:

Any chance of that again this year?
