I'm not gonna apologise. The fact that he's clearly got such a disorder was one point.

The fact that he's also a twat who ignores any and all explanations or arguments put to him is quite another.

The two things can both be true about him.

My boyfriend is ever so slightly on the autistic scale - and judging by what child psychologists had to say about ME once upon a time, so am I.

Having said that I still have a nagging feeling he's a big fraud, as has been said, his utter denial that there is anything odd or wrong about him and ability to quote an entire post except for the part that asks about his mentalness speaks volumes.

I called him a twat and a manchild. Had I made some random Jan Moir-esque, entirely false link off of this, then fine - but I'm sticking by what I said - past posts on TVF and further back on Metropol showed he clearly has some knowledge of his behaviour - God knows he's already been banned from HERE because of it. And God knows I'm not the first on here to ever hurl names at others!

My point being that he's not the only damn person in the world with any kind of disorder. I don't hold with people apologising constantly for people with disorders and such, as if they are NEVER responsible for anything they do or say. Aspergers, I can cope with just fine in somebody.

Not at all. I'm just a tad sick of the level of indulgence the man receives over there. I wouldn't expect to receive such indulgence, and I don't believe anyone else would be treated the same as him. People have been banned for less than is tolerated from TT, so why should he be so bloody special?
