It features a 'Freeview' box so it's a lot more recent than that

That was their last campaign with the red logo, around 2003 as I recall. You can the direction they're going with the orange background and all.

I remember my local store had the orange Comet branding a lot earlier than when it rolled out elsewhere. Took me a while to figure out why the logo looked different than the website and other stores.

Yes, I remember being confused when that campaign had launched that it hadn't adopted the current logo which my nearest store in Solihull had.

The big one at the Maybury? They had the new look for, what, more than a year before it rolled out?

IIRC, when the Truro store moved out of town in 2002 it had the new logo from day 1, but the old logo was still used for all advertising for another 2 years.

The in-town Plymouth store still had the 1980's logo (with the white 'flashes') until 2005!

ISTR there was also an 'interim' branding on some stores - the old logo but in yellow rather than red.

Yes, the Solihull store, was a new one when it took the yellow/current branding and I'd say it was over a year till the branding was fully rolled out onto ads etc.

That's the one. Used to be a Great Mills (whatever that was).

On another Maybury-related note, I see PC World have finally got rid of the ancient logos that were scattered around the building. The logo on the front of the store is ridiculously big though. Looks like a billboard.

That the one on the Stratford Road, by Shirley? I remember that having the Orange back in 2005/6 ish while the other stores (Castle Brom) had the Red.

I think that's the one Beep, it certainly had the branding from it's opening which was long before the rest of the stores took it. It really confused me, so it did.
