The UK WLM Servers are either above capacity or bugged, No messages can be sent or received, it will be fixed shortly.

Should really go in the twitter thread but I find this a great use for Twitter search which is how I discovered this news as I always feel stupid starting threads on MP about it given how often it happens

Thanks, but the longer it's down the better, Live Messenger is now nasty, bloated software that is being used by Microsoft to lead people into using other "Live!" services that are of no use. It tells me every time I log in that "I have 1 new invitation". When I click on that I find that no one's invited me to anything but Microsoft, and they're inviting me to invite people to Windows Live something or other. They're "inventing" services that no one wants and then they wonder why no one uses them.

Now Hotmail. Who the fuck would want to use Hotmail with it's useless, clunky, web 1.0 user interface?
