A Twitter Moan....

I dont know if theres anyone else out there who agrees with me , at least i hope there is otherwise i wasted my time signing up here. I`m a teenager and well I need to moan about something . And i`ll know you`ll probably say oh teens moaning great. Well just listen here ok . :D Heres my moan

TWITTER IS TO DAM MUCH DUDES & DUDETTES
. TV Programmes now tell people to tweet stuff to them , is this just to much I think so :D
. To many people have no lives , all they can do is tweet stuff , "going toilet" , "bored" , well if your so bored why not just get a life !
. Its just like facebook but without the added extras . Seriously there's no point to this website you can do everything you can do on twitter on facebook.


If anyone agrees , or disagrees (i`m up for a fight) then respond :D

There's a statistic floating around that something like 95% of twitter traffic is generated by 5% of the users.

I set up a twitter thing, but there's something very one dimensional about tweets, where there's a little more meat to facebook. Maybe its the combination of profiles and pictures that wins it for me.

Twitter seems to be slipping down a path I'm not keen on. TV programmes seem to be marketing on it a lot, and even my puny profile is being followed by spam merchants.

Of course our own Metrotwitter is the exception that proves my objection.

Stephen Fry follows me and he often responds to my direct messages.

Twitter is the best.
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.

But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.

I think Twitter is brill. It's all down to the way you use it though.
I don't understand those who complain about people tweeting their mundane activities. If you're not interested then don't follow them, follow people who are informative and entertaining

As for TV programmes using it, I don't really see the harm. Yes it's just jumping on the bandwagon, but at the end of the day its just another method of communication, people probably said the same thing when email was introduced.

I signed up but very rarely use it. If it wasn't for metrotwitter i wouldn't have bothered signing up at all. I much prefer facebook. At least i get a little bit of sympathy on there while i'm suffering with flu and it has time wasting quizzes and games to relieve the boredom of being cooped up indoors.
Mental anxiety, Mental breakdowns, Menstrual cramps, Menopause... Did you ever notice how all our problems begin with Men?

I don't really get it either. As most people have already said, in itself it doesn't give me anything I can't get from other sources - often done better too.
I have signed up, however as I was inspired by metrotweet to use the RSS feed as a way of quickly and easily updating my own site. For that, twitter is brilliant. I can remove all twitter branding and pull all the entries into a database table. It might even inspire me to update my site once in a while!
