All this said, a blue cloth can work better for people with blonde hair. I have found that blonde hair can pick up a bit too much of any reflected green from the cloth which doesn't help fringing at all. Of course, moving the talent away from the cloth would help no end here, but sometimes given space constraints there's no choice.
I agree that N10 can look spectacularly awful. The weather studios certainly don't look as good as they used to. They always used to use blue, but it looks to me like they use green nowadays.
