The Newfie stations are far better further up the east coast.
Not much luck other than VOCM from Newfoundland here.

And I thought hearing crystal clear Radio Scotland half-way up a Welsh valley in a car was impressive.
Best piece of serendipity I ever had in the car was catching RTE Radio 1 on some remote LW number all the way from Blackwood to Brecon. We were looking for a station carrying the Ireland-Scotland Six Nations match. Made our day.

252 for RTE Radio 1 is not to bad up here at the top of Gwent near Brynmawr, although its MW signal was far better during the day when they had it.

Do any other stations than CHUM and CFRB make it from Toronto?jsm wrote:The MW bands here are quite crowded...the furthest I can get is Toronto usually, which is about 400 miles from NYC.
WINS and CFRB often battle for 1010 at night right?
