They don't make anything themselves, yet contractually insist that almost all the companies which manufacture for them only put Marks & Spencer branding on the product.
Very few companies get to put 'Manuafactured by Soandso for Marks & Spencer' on the product labelling. Bowyers (the pork pie people) were one of the few.
