One of the benefits of being over this side of the world is that Santa stops by here first. So, just while I'm waiting for everyone else in the house to wake up, allow me to extend to you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas. And if you happen not be celebrating, have a great day anyway. :)

Quite remarkable. As if the Pope's comments this week attacking homosexuality as a threat to humanity weren't quite enough, ruining the Christmas spirit for a group of kids is a really nice touch. For what it's worth, I find the story of Father Christmas far more believable than most of the stuff in the bible. Frankly, I don't know where any religious figure gets off dismissing Santa Claus as fiction when they can't prove God exists...
