it's that time of year where we remember the day kris kringle was shot on the cross by erecting a tree with a myriad of lights, surprises and treasures hanging from its branches.

here's my tree at lobster hq:

and here's the tree at my parents house, although you can't see it from that angle, there are 400 lights on it (i went a bit mad and found a previously 'lost' set of lights).

let's see your festive hedge.

Our tree is a load of piss, and I SHAN'T be sharing it.
We accidentally bought the wrong cheap cheap 'supervalue' tree from Woolies, which has a dreadfully embarrassing radius. Our attempts at dropping cheap tinsel and crap lights over it have done little to remedy the situation.

I won't be sharing a picture of mine this year either. Me and my father went out and bought a tree, and being a piss poor judge of heights and distances, we bought a 9 1/2 foot monstrosity when we actually wanted an 8 footer.

Dad, being the resourceful sort and full of initiative decided to remedy the problem by chopping off a foot and a half from the top - resulting in a flat topped christmas tree.

Mind you, it looks better than my 3ft Wilko value effort from last year.

I've decided not to bother to decorate my cave up in the hills since I'll be buggering off to the sputulic homestead and I don't want to be confronted with the misery of taking them all down. I do love the lobster location, though. Every photo shows it to be impeccably decorated and furnished, not to mention the fab choices of technology.

I'm not getting a tree this year, considering I won't be home for most of the Christmas break.

Your edit keyboard is super sweet, Mark.

Have you bought yourself a Contour Shuttle Pro yet? I love mine. Couldn't live without it.

I'd say the black goes better with the aluminium iMacs.

You're still cheap though Grindon.
