None here in temperate Brynhyfryd.

Although there was a harsh frost today, where some schoolkids wrote their name into a car window, and the council have put the "do not stand on the ice" signs in the middle of the (very much liquid) canal.

We had snow in York, only a slight fall, less than a centimetre deep I think, which fell overnight and had mainly melted into slush by the time I got home this evening. I thought "Yay!" when I pulled back the curtains this morning to see the car park out our back covered in snow, which quickly turned to "Oh sh*t" when I went out and almost kept slipping on the footpath when walking around town earlier.

I've heard there might be more snow over the next few days here but I'll believe it when I see it.

Ooh it was a slippery walk through the town centre this morning! I think it caught the pavement gritting people off guard. The usual aggressive walk of people with proper jobs was reduced to a delicate teetering shuffle.

I recently experienced my first artificial snow machine. It looked quite good if I'm honest, although obviously a bit crap for doing snowy things like throwing and modelling.

That's as close to real snow as I'm going to get for a while I think.

I'm in Leeds and it seems that all the snow is specific to Scotland and much of the North of England as far South as Derbyshire but no further.

Much like Col, we got very little more than a nice coating to wake up to, a couple of wet snow flurries during the day and some more this evening but not enough to do more than add a thin layer to slush making for very icy conditions. There's more on the way so maybe some more might come.

I live on a hill and there were black ice all over the pavements. I needed my grippy trainers.

.....

I just realised that post was in the Malpass / Tumble Tower league. I apologise.
