Uploading (or trying desperately to) my Eurovision entry. I'd forgotten about it until today and hadn't realised the deadline was Friday, so have been screaming at the computer since I got home from work.

Top Gear from 1849 is on in the background on Dave too.

What was he hoping to find in there?

I think he was hoping to see through the little trap-door at the back to find out if the brain was still present.

Hmm.

That's not at all the route my doctor took to find mine.

Wait a minute...!

I'm trying to get a paper finished off which a group of us are going to present in Mumbai next month. Regrettably, it seems that at least some of my colleagues are not as fastidious as I am, and so I am left trying to address issues of plagiarism in the paper. My head has felt like it's about to explode all week.

Sure - but it doesn't feel like a Wednesday to me given how this has been dragging on. Perhaps I should say, "since the weekend" rather than "all week".

That'd seem more reasonable, but then I'd have to imagine some form of lead-up time to that feeling and then it gets a little complicated for me and I have to have a lie down.

I would have said "since the weekend" was sufficiently vague to allow for lead-in times. Would it be since the start of the weekend or since the end of the weekend?

Now I feel the need for a lie-down!

I'm attempting to prepare for an exam tomorrow, my last for the year, thank God.

I've managed to start flipping my days and nights, all caused by one rather desperate all-nighter on Monday ahead of a 9am code deadline, followed by the dawning realisation I have a lot of other work to do, and an attempt to avoid my diseased cold-ridden housemate for the next few days as much as possible.
