I wouldn't expect too much, that's just the way Stu works when you corner him in an argument, he scours the post for something to pedanticise about and ignores the rest. Totally classless, and he's fooling nobody and just comes across as an absolute dunderhead.Gavin Scott wrote:Perhaps then you could answer the point of the question rather than obfuscating on the minutiae?
I wonder if he does it in conversation, too?
No, cdd, it's what happens when the argument drifts so far away from the original point I had made.cdd wrote:I wouldn't expect too much, that's just the way Stu works when you corner him in an argument, he scours the post for something to pedanticise about and ignores the rest.Gavin Scott wrote:Perhaps then you could answer the point of the question rather than obfuscating on the minutiae?
I wasn't about to be dragged into a discussion about the requirement of humans to domesticate animals thousands of years ago, or the fact that some of the resultant species are kept as pets. I cannot be 'cornered' in an argument I haven't expressed an opinion about.
I therefore only responded to the relevant part of Gavin's post.
Would you walk off a cliff if sput told you to, cdd, or at the final moment you would have an original thought of your own and actually step back?cdd wrote:dunderhead

But you did express an opinion!Stuart* wrote:I cannot be 'cornered' in an argument I haven't expressed an opinion about.
I hope you see how nice it is when someone ignores the rest of your carefully thought out post. I might add this emoticon on just for fun as well
