semantics indeed. titter

as for your points. poll wise, look upward and marvel.

vid wise, it its 30 months old and a bit retro (my hair in particular) but whatever, i'll dredge it up anyhow.

and as for plymouth. well whatever, he fancies everyone so its to be expected, at least I don't get his seedy pms. more worrying however is the share something he likely told you in confidence to win a petty dispute and as YOU were the one who dredged it up, it reflects [geddit??!!] badly on you.

finally, and I think this is the most important point. You DO sound like Luxton...
just sayin'

YAY you're like a young Rob Brydon. And yes, I honestly thought it was Luxton for a while.

Hmmm, have they not gotten to the part in your geography lessons where they tell you there are different areas in the UK?

They probably haven't advanced from the colouring in stages yet.

David Tennant is actually from West Lothian, which isn't far from Dundee, which may account for similarity in the accent - but are you from Dundee originally, Hyma?

Most dialects have far more local variations than 'outsiders' realise. Before I lived in the North East I thought all Geordies sounded the same, but after 5 years living in Teesside I could tell the difference between people from Durham, Stockton, Hartlepool and Newcastle.

oh no, I'm English you see. Geordie infact, however I've lived in so many places the accent is completely mangled.
