What do you sound like? Let's ask James at the Albert Dock.

Am I having one of those days, or does that link just go to a page advertising a load of scantily clad young women?

Probably won't get more than two or three takers on this particular forum.

You mean to say you're not using Firefox and Adblock Plus? Tsk.

I think Chie should contribute to this thread, I'm intrigued to see if the sound matches the face and how odd that would be.

It's a shame I don't have a microphone, otherwise I would happily oblige.

Fucking hell bells, Fern Britton sounds rough these days.

I'm from Norfolk, so just listen to a clip of the Singing Postman's "Hev Yew Gotta Loight Bor" and that's pretty much it.

Mind how yew go now, and dew yew keep a troshin!

I doubt anyone would want to hear my voice, so likewise I will not take part

Monsieur Nick, ignore the rough birds and you'll get to the file.

And it's nothing to do with whether we want to hear your voice! I think it genuinely helps to hear someone's voice to be able to hear them post, so to speak. Either that or it completely destroys your perceptions of someone :D

i also don't have adblock plus. my anti-virus thing blocks a small number of banners but mainly those scantily clad women ones rather than the great majority of google ads, it works much nicer than adblock's more vicous approach that I find quite annoying and rude.

Having said that, it also has an annoying habit of blocking anything called "banner" so I had to alter its settings to stop it from making large gaps on bbc.co.uk where site logos should be. tsk.

I have a different reason for not using Adblocking software which is that I find many such programs damage the page scripting leading to page errors. Generally I don't like the idea of a program tampering with the HTML of a web page.

Strange, I've never had any of those issues you all mention. I did used to whitelist sites I like but never bothered on my current laptop. I'll add Metro and TVF to it now.

I'll probably get all embarrassed and take it down after 5 mins but here you go: http://www.gorillaenterprises.co.uk/upl ... etizen.mp3

I don't use adblock plus, but my HOSTS file is massive. I dread to think how slow my internet connection would be otherwise.
