Website design opinion

I am afraid to ask but here goes.
I have just finished a redesign of :

(which I designed)

What do people think? (its just a 1 page demo at the moment)

Do them one better, get them a new logo as that thing is pants.

Site design wise though, a 3 column layout would be wasted given the left column is only minimal navigation even on the live site. Might work better with header strap navigation.

What she said about the LH menu, but (if it's meant to look like that in firefox) you'll want to make the text in the right hand boxes look more dinstinct from the main text, maybe by small capital letters or something. You can justify text these days too.

the logo is changing - that's the original one - not seen the new one yet but it am sure it will be similar quality :)

the 3 column is only for the index page - I use a CMS system and there are quite a number of pages creating a big menu structure so a header strap is not practical. It is usually 2 column (as the original site)

A whole column dedicated to navigation and little else, still reckon one could be implemented even with the CMS you/they use.

Still, the logo is changing, I hope for something from this century but expect early 90s.

I don't like justified text just think it looks odd.
Have changed the text colour to make it more distinct - any better?

Would love to do a menu similar style to this - would make things so much neater.

Question: Did you mean to have a somewhat dead version of the test site on the root level of your website?
