Typical Simon Luxton - moans about too much sport and then moans at Sky for keeping it all away from his reach. Its not that he's "full of contradictions" so much as its just he's a bloody idiot.
I do like his suggestion that pubs should break the law and "patch in a neighbours feed". He obviously doesn't know about the "pint glass" symbol which appears on screen for public display subscriptions, nor the teams of inspectors who enforce this.
I wonder if he gets his television paid for by the Social Services?
I mean, he obviously doesn't recognise that things need to be paid for. He had a similar tantrum about Mersey TV preventing him from webstreaming full episodes of Grange Hill. He just couldn't understand their objections, and encouraged GH Online forumers to complain in writing and by email and phone to the producers. He even published their email addresses and direct line phone numbers.
Absolute cock.
If you want something, Simon - be it sports (unlikely) or the right to broadcast another producer's work - then get off your ass, get a job and pay for the fucking thing.
Moron.

Yup though that "Ah" could have been interpreted as "See? You know what I mean, smart, eh?" or "He wouldn't watch that anyway". As a point to Luxton's apparent distaste with almost everything, think it'd be a bit beneficial for him to start liking... I dunno, something mainstream, wouldn't you? He's a failed human and he isn't even 35 by my last reckoning, Ah, he's the only thing we have to talk about DS-related seeing as he's abandoned TVF and it's hedonistic new fangled thinking ways, maybe a Luxton Watch News and Information Board might be a bit much to ask though.
Yes, let's see if we can fix the remainder of his life and get him having some fucking fun instead of being the second coming of his old man in his twilight years.
We may not be able to fix the slow moving car crash to date but we can do something about his future... hopefully, don't want to seem like I give a fuck if he lives or dies or anything though. In some ways he is a lost cause and little can change that but at least give him some mates and a little distraction from the monotonous rut he's got himself into.

I rather liked this reply to one of his posts...wells wrote:Despite the fact he was moaning that he hates sport and how much Olympics coverage the BBC has been giving us.

I'm not sure what he has done in the past to annoy people but this chap's full of contradictions.
...it would appear that this reply has been ignored, despite it being a seemingly valid answer to alternatives to paying for a Sky subscription.carat22 on DS wrote:Listen to the Radio?Originally Posted by GH Online View Post

As for his suggestion of...
...whilst I'm not sure how often Sky check pubs for the special pint glass symbol I believe the potential fines are sufficient to deter most pubs/clubs from trying that. The pubs could always patch in a Sky feed from a neighbour who has it - that'll hit Murdoch where it hurts and not deprive the fans of their game!

You're assuming he's been in a pub... Den's of depravity and drunken debauchery so I'm told.Gavin Scott wrote:He obviously doesn't know about the "pint glass" symbol which appears on screen for public display subscriptions, nor the teams of inspectors who enforce this.
