I've not heard Radio 1 mention their phone number in years (except when Moyles mentioned the change in number the other day).

Maybe they do? To be honest I only listen to Moyles so maybe it's just him.

Yes, rarely on Moyles, but I hear it a lot on other shows.

Went to see The Dark Knight last night and the first advert on at the Cinema was a really long trailer for Radio 1 and it's new music from after 7.00pm, it featured all the main DJ's in those slots and was really well produced, and best bit, not a Moyles anywhere in sight. :D

Oh dear Moyles, it seems you've lost half a million listeners.

I think the biggest problem Radio 1 has is the lack of swing jocks. Greg James had to do a double shift to cover for an ill Jo Whiley earlier this week, and Scott Mills has been doing some odd shifts lately.

Have to say, I'm not much of a fan of him on TV but Vernon Kay has been fantastic covering for Edith these last 2 weeks.

Yeah I'm getting fed up of Annie Mac.

I was just thinking about a re-shuffle, I think some of the DJ's from after 7 should be drafted in. So here i go anywho:

7am-10am Chris Moyles (Newsbeat at 7am & 8am, update at 9am)

Same as usual really.

10am-1pm Jo Whiley & Steve Lamacq (Newsbeat update 11am, Newsbeat at 12pm and 12.45)

Thought this would work, they get on well, good tastes in music, avoids the constant shift as one can cover too.

1pm-4pm Greg James & Huw Stevens (Newsbeat update at 3pm)

Started listening to Greg James recently when he filled in for Scott Mills, and now in the early breakfasts, think he is quite a good Dj, more mainstream so id put Huw Stevens in with him, it could work.

Scott Mills and Chappers 4pm-7pm (Newsbeat update 5pm, Newsbeat for 30 minutes at 6pm)

Thought about Vernon or Fearne for the afternoon slot, but i don't think they would like working 5 days a week, filming commitments etc, any suggestions?
