When i was a mere whipper snapper i got to work with some awesome artists on my apprenticeship. Dave Byrne taught me a couple of chords on an acousic guitar. I rolled him a ciggie! How cool is that eh.
I know you lot can beat that! Having an altercation with Kay Hurley Burley ( the strangler) doesn't count.

Same here, but that was a couple of years ago when Channel M did their daily vox pops in the City centre.Sput wrote:I saw Andy Crane in town a couple of years ago.

For me I have two...
Once in 1992 when my birthday greeting was read out on TV-am including an embarrassing picture of myself.
The other was a couple of years ago when David Beckham was mobbed in Manchester city centre (again) and I was about 5 or 6 people behind him, there were plenty of photographers there so the picture was in the paper the next day and then in Heat the week after, which I still have.

Don't think I can ever remember meeting anyone particularly important.
Mind you, that's dementia for you!

Hmm, nothing famous for me. I mention that I'm famous in my own circle but won't reveal who I am, leave that to you to guess on my super-secret life but it's not a Jarón BrAss fabrication or being someone who came up with something fairly ingenious for waste management filtration systems.
Oh and I have met on a couple of occasions with Jim Davis, he of Garfield fame and a few too many times with Dilbert creator Scott Adams and only one of those at a convention I was attending alongside.

A cynic with a sense of humour would read that as you being detained at Her Majesty's pleasure, with her, quite rightly, paying for your food, Mr Griddleburger.nodnirG kraM wrote:Their presence does pay my bills though.

Is this a good time to mention that I overtook Chris Rogers on the escalator at Waterloo Station on Friday night?
