After a fairly lacklustre Stevenote which was primarily iPhone and squat all else I think you might be right. Hopefully you'll be getting a legit iPhone in the coming month.

I suspect it'll only happen if they're going to do a PAYG model that I can use my SIM in. We find out tomorrow about prices so time shall tell. I've a nasty feeling it'll be cheap up-front but only available on nasty contracts. September's the usual iPod time and they've started giving away loads of touches in the US for student who buy macs so the thinking is that they'll be bumping all the storage capacities up.

Well, can't say I'm not disappointed. Way too much time was given to the apps, and then we get an iPhone which has 3G, GPS, is thinner...and that's it. No better camera, no video recording or conferencing facilities, and no 32GB model either. Think I'll wait a while longer.

Oh, and no Beatles, but that's hardly a surprise...

Yeah, I was merely hoping for a storage bump early on but as you say, September is usually the update period and seeing as most iPods now are close to the end of this cycle. Due to that I'll be holding of getting a new iPod even though Mitzi recently had a mishap and now has a cracked screen.

Well, yeah being it WWDC and not MWSF, the key is in the word "Developer".

Woohoo! It'll be available on PAYG, although they're not quoting a price yet.

I'm expecting £269. Happily O2 were silly enough to give me an n95 and I already have an ipod touch, so there should be enough to cover it quite comfortably if I sell them both - and perhaps buy a jaunty hat.

I'd wager closer to £200 but I like the idea of the jaunty hat.

As well you should! I fear they're gonna be awkward about it and not let me just use my SIM. They'll probably insist it's PAYG or the iPhone contract and NOTHING ELSE. Tsk if that's the case, since the new £30 iPhone contract gives the same minutes and half the texts compared with my £15 n95 contract.
