Sad news tonight that Alan Towers who presented BBC Midlands Today for over 20 years has died at the age of 73.

So, a minor controversy which was so small to not even be a mild disagreement got beep to call himself beep, even though nobody uses it in any way as a gesture of kindness or even respect?

And also managed to shoehorn a term into an actual obit knowing that it's so hackneyed that it's actually become something of a clichéd joke? Seems the mundane and pathetically tiresome just happen to get moreso.
