he's banned.

so anyways, thanks to everyone who came tonight. its been decided that that particular software is simply not good enough however we'll be looking for a replacement soon enough, more likely with an IRC based backend rather than an internal one like that one.

Naturally, I'll let you know when its ready for testing.

Will we be able to access the chatroom via IRC?

Edit: Oops, missed the post above.

A good one is WebChat which is IRC based and comes with a Flash web GUI. The backpack version is free and there are lots of GUI parameters you can change.

I missed it? Crap.

I still have lots of logs of TV Forum chats dating back to 2002, but they're mainly just full of me talking crap so not that interesting.

Who remembers the Alldritt-O-Meter, the Turrr-Alert, Ste saying 'ignorment', Tom D calling Asa a 'packy', countless discussions of Crossroads, and the huge scandal when someone changed the topic to 'Sky Jews' causing people to go OTT and write angry messages of protest on the forum? Happy days.

Wasn't the Sky Jews thing posted on the forum by a certain someone he got kicked for being a mentalist again?

Myself and Sputty were going through some old chatlogs the other night, we found them most fab.
