Given your avatar, young man, the propulsion of projectiles within the conservatory is not to be recommended.

Why not just let the post be submitted and let users edit accordingly if they need to??
It's just incase whilst you were drafting your considered response, someone else came back with something which either:

 said the same thing as you were about to, or
 moved the topic on at a tangent in a completely different direction (as often happens).

Either of these may mean you wouldn't want to post anymore, or change what you had drafted.

I don't seem to get that option at the moment though..... :|

HYMA: have I tinkered in the UCP too much and prevented that appearing?

Stuart, I know what it is for. I am asking why it does it. Never seen that feautre on the TVF.

You don't need that option anyway, Stu, its not like you read what people are saying....

well the reason it doesn't ask on TVF is rather simple. The version of phpBB that the other place runs is much older than the one we run, and it doesn't include the feature. IIRC, reporting a post on TVF is done using a mod, whereas we have it built in by default.

well it only appears when someone has actually replied. to my knowledge there is no option to control it within the UCP, only a global option in my big admin screen.

Oh for the love of Nick's dongle, do people just skim over my posts?

TVF runs on phpBB2.

Haha, I went to Specsavers, so I think the prohibition of throwing stones within the glass house is unnecessary, as I have no glass house to go to, and sit adjacent to it selling The Big Issue.

Gok Wan springs to my mind.
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.

But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.

I notice that Bert from Sesame Street has today become the 3rd illustrious person to grace Metro's footer.

Can we expect a daily change from now on? If so, is 'The Management' going to be open to suggestions for future candidates?

PS: It's a shame Ernie isn't also shown, as there was always the inference that there was something more to their co-habiting than simply being mates ;)

Yes because Family Guy was the first thing ever to assess pop culture differently and send it up for laughs. I grow weary of that show's inability to make a joke without referencing pop culture seeing as the whole concept is half-inched from various other things also.

That sort of talk isn't for here though.
