Virtually every time I return to the site I'm having to log back in which I've never had a problem with before.
Good point, except I've been getting that for weeks. Someone will help us.

You are remembering to tick the "remember me" box aren't you?

I did change the cookie name. perhaps using this
http://www.metropol247.co.uk/forum/ucp. ... te_cookies
might help a bit.

As a general lurker here (reading all, but not saying too much) I have to say that this new look is spankingly good. Congrats/thanks/luvvie hugs to all involved.

Also the favicon - still retro-pink... and here was me wanting to keep the sparkly Metropol logo

The "remember me" box disappeared this afternoon. Then it reappeared, it seems to log-in automatically again.

That could be something to do with the "Jaron Brass Apology" pdf file which sent my PC into meltdown for 2 mins. I don't suggest anyone goes to that and presses "back".

I have a beautiful red version here - may take a little while to update I guess.

Interestingly, every time I've had to log back in, that box hasn't been there. It seems to be there now.

Ta, Pete.

I was about to mention the remember me issue. I haven't been bothered to change my password from a silly one phpBB generated like v4sjfKsj so I have to check my email to login every time, not the best way to spend one's time.

Although the remember me box was there this time so I think it's fixed as Hyma said.

YAY! I think I can help! I think.

Namely: I would guess those of you with logon 'permenance' issues are still accessing the site from metropol.hymagumba.com, even though the dns has been changed for the domain, metropol247.co.uk, and the site domain as well. So, actually go to metropol247.co.uk as opposed to the .hymagumba.com subdomain and you should stay logged in. I experienced this for ages afterwards before I figured it out and it was very annoying.

You're wrong, cdd.

It works fine as it was. Fine and dandy in fact!

Well, clearly not, or people wouldn't still be having problems. :)
