So go on, who actually believed we were joining digital spy? Honestly. You're all tits.

WELCOME, to the new look Metropol, hopefully by now you'll have noticed our new homepage and seen our lovely new look.

It's not 100% complete, closer to 97%, so before the pedants get their claws out, I know I still need to edit the tabs on the control panel and I know there are a few more bits and pieces to be sorted. They'll be done in a day or two.

So just time to say thanks to everyone else involved...

Lee: for making our rather stunning new background and header images on such a short timescale.
Bail: for working on the prototype, and making several of the smaller images on the site
and Sput: for putting up with my constant pestering about tiny little adjustments to the templates and beta testing the site for the last month with me :)

Enjoy <3

To celebrate this momentous event, I have pledged to be extra nice and welcoming to any new members for the WHOLE week. Will I make it? Will I have a hernia? Who knows. There's only one way to find out!

YAY at the ACTUAL work put in by everyone who isn't me.

Very nice, II can tell a lot of work has been put into this. Love the Morrisons receipt.

Very fabulous. Very fabulous. I love it.

However, one small moan - when I click on the logo, could you make it so it takes me to the main forum instead of having to click on 'The Lounge' at the top? Or am I being greedy?

But I love it. I do, an awful lot.

I think it looks very nice. Certainly different. And, yes, I did swallow the link to DS (although I didn't see that as a major problem). Presumably they were complicit in the ruse. ;)

that's been fixed. the "logged in" homepage was meant to be fabber, but at 7.50 this evening sput noticed that the "list of last ten topics" was infact, a list of the last ten TOPICS, ignoring any replies, so that has therefore been changed into a nice little redirect script. never mind
