Car thread.

Just got myself a new car today. It's well lush, a nice sheeny shiney XJ6 Sport in British Racing Green. A snip at £1,450. I can afford to have huge carbon footprint with my motor as i don't fly abroad and i'm everso green living at home with heating and water etc.
The tax and fuel is extortionate but i don't care i've got a new toy to play with. It's an absolute dream to drive. It has High mileage due to it formally belonging to an Harrods company Director which has been serviced by Rolls Royce.

What do you drive? Are you eco friendly with your chuggaboom or would you sacrifice luxury for a green eco electric motor?

I say fuck the ozone layer, i've got a new Jaguar.

I'm so happy today, nothing could burst my bubble.

I've got a fab Citroen C4 Coupe by Loeb - special edition of which only 400 were made, which is pretty cool. It's not too bad for the environment, it's the greenest car in its class according to all the promotional stuff.

It gets me from A to B, and sometimes C at the weekends.

I passed my driving test last week, and I'm getting my mum's car, which is an automatic Vauxhall Astra 1.6 - very good for a first car, and it has a bigger engine than my cousin's, whose car is brand new. I've driven around a bit with my parents and I'm slowly getting used to it, and for the first time in my life, I actually feel in control of things. Well, I'd be a bit worried if I wasn't.

Astra 1.4 from 2001 is my current car. Immaculate condition too I'll have you know, the paintwork in particular gleams and the carpets are lovely and clean

Prior to that I used to drive my dad's Zafira, although it was the 1.6 so wasn't the snappiest car in the world but is also probably the reason I drive smoothly, unlike everyone else in my class at school who used to bounce the car at gear changes.

Tigra 1.4. It's green (I didn't pick the colour) - sod the environment! It's in good condition, and very low mileage, although that's been helped by the fact that I haven't been able to drive it anywhere for 12 months! I will soon be loose on the roads again though!

I'm down to 1,248cc currently, which I really do feel is too much, for the mileage I need to do each year.

I shall probably trade down to about 900 or 1,000cc later this year, simply so some of you young people get to live a decent lifespan, before the foolish Jaguar drivers ruin the planet for everybody.
