2 problems in Vista

Anonymous

The first of my problems is playing media.

My 'sound' is working, I get can sound on the Internet from flash based players as well as video but can not get sound or vision in applications such as iTunes or Windows Media Center.

It is not a sound problem, it is playing the media. When I click to play an iTunes song it just stays static and doesn't play.

The second problem is folders in Vista. Each time I click a link in the an explorer window it opens a new window to view it. The option is set to open each folder in the same window in the folder options menu.

Can anyone help with either of these problems? Otherwise it will be a restore which I do not want as I have just got most of Adobe's master collection.

A re-install of Windows XP might help.

Currys near me have a huge banner above their computer section:

"WINDOWS XP! GET IT WHILE YOU CAN!"

Says it all I think.

I'm bored of this member. Can we do something about him?

Hang on smart-ass. uTorrent and Limewire are NOT illegal.

Many companies choose to offer THEIR software and share documents over applications like these. It is what YOU CHOOSE to download that is legal/illegal.

Too late. He has already informed west midlands police, like he did that time someone posted a "pornographic" image of him in which he was fully clothed.
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.

But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.

What, you mean the one that had previously been viewed by thousands of people in a prime time slot on BBC One?
