How come I never get any spam? Do they somehow know that you're hung like a miniature donkey, Jamez?
I installed XP SP3 after reading this thread, and my computer died later on that day! I'm not sure whether the two incidents are related, but needless to say I was not a happy bunny.Godfather wrote:I'm currently running Windows XP SP3
My PC was a (barely 2 years old) Packard Bell and I had already replaced the Power Unit which ceased to function just before last Christmas. I decided to give up with it and buy a new computer, although that means I'm now on the notoriously flawed MS Vista.
So far it has managed to find the right drivers for most of my peripherals. However, I can't get it to work my TV Capture software properly. I will keep trying. I also have AOL trying to download v9.1 which fails everytime.

I love how Mac fans say that "the only thing that changed in Vista was the look," when they're plonking down a lot of cash every year for what is essentially a service pack where the look is one of the few minor tweaks made.

I haven't met a Mac fan who hasn't been all atwitter over the latest version. By your logic, that would mean that all Mac fans are idiots.
Until Steve Jobs gives up the ghost, rolls up his sleeves, and gets to work on Mac OS 11 or XI or whatever the hell they want to call it, I will remain staunchly anti-Mac. I don't like scams.

Have you even used a mac? It's not stupid to be happy with a new release if it's got good stuff in it. It's stupid to be totally ignorant about "the other side" but to criticise them nonetheless. It's YOUR logic that's flawed.Slagathor. wrote:I haven't met a Mac fan who hasn't been all atwitter over the latest version. By your logic, that would mean that all Mac fans are idiots.
