WRONG; factually INCORRECT; BADLY researched.

Go back to school, beepychub.

The pound coin was introduced on 23rd April 1983.

The (English) pound note ceased to be legal tender on 31st December 1985.

If you're going to guess at history, beepychub, best to make it history prior to the nineteen forties, when I wasn't around to remember that you're wrong.

Although legal tender, the notes were withdrawn from circulation in 1988.

Your history teacher isn't making an arse of himself in here. Probably wise, if that's the sort of bollocks he's teaching you...

Watch out. Your pomposity is showing again, by the way. People might start posting Nick Owen's first if you're not careful.

How does the old saying go?

A bad workman always blames his tools.

Sort YOURSELF out, chubbybeep.

can I ask does any of the 3 Scottish banks that allowed to print money have this?
