Anyone else getting intermittent timeouts trying to reach this fair site? Might just be the foibles of Sky broadband of course. Saw the MySQL fell over earlier too though.

Virgin or Sky?
I'm on Virgin/Telewest and @ 19.778Mbps (not quite what my folks are paying for!) and Never had a problem with it!

Virgin! I'm normally in the M20 postcode though. It's always somewhat crap because it's always oversubscribed.

I know there's loads of bad stories about Virgin, but I've never had any trouble in the 3/4 years I've been a customer.

I keep going back to them every year. I'll never learn. Maybe it's because they give the old internet for a tenner a month

Interesting.

Everything fine here at home on Freeserve/Wannadoo/Orange.

I did try on Boxing Day from a Sky Broadband connection and failed miserably, so gave up.

Well AOL Broadband in Plymouth is working fine. But earlier today I was trying to use my Sister's (oop North, near to "Sputville") and it wouldn't connect at all. She's with a dodgy ISP though! :?
