I'd really appreciate your help on this one because, short of tasting every one, I'm at a bit of a loss trying to decide for her!
Best Christmas Food
I'm trying to advise mum on the best Christmas food to buy this year, and wondered which supermarket you thought was best for:
Turkey
Stuffing
Christmas Pud
Christmas Cake
Chocolates
Anything extra!

Whatever floats your boat.Sput wrote:I take it by stuffing you mean a chicken, a duck and fois gras all placed within each other and then in the turkey?
Oh i LOVE those exploding puddings. Usually go well with their vanilla custard. I'm hungry!nodnirG kraM wrote:I can't stand pud, but Tesco's won awards year after year for their Finest* pud - the Queen used to have it until she returned to her F&M hamper.
I normally have one of those exploding chocolate puds from M&S.

Buy locally. I will be getting my veg and other miscellaneous things delivered by midday christmas eve from my local shop. The meat is on order ready to be picked from the xmas eve from the local farm shop. Their own grown cows and stuff then locally slaugtered then back in their fridges. Just think i could be tucking into that cow i've been shouting horseradish at all year..
About the only thing i'll be going to Tesco, Morrisons or Lidl for is the booze.
M&S for the pud

Don't be facetious. Everyone knows mouse poo is soft and chewy!rts wrote:That would be the mouse droppings.Netizen wrote:I normally dislike just-add-water stuffing and make my own, but Aldi's is quite good. Goes nice and crunchy on the outside...
I recommended Lidl's Prosecco as it's lush.miss hellfire wrote:Buy locally. I will be getting my veg and other miscellaneous things delivered by midday christmas eve from my local shop. Oh yes. I can't get enough of them. I've bought some to go in with my girlfriends goodie bags, along with a bottle of champers, a champers flute and various cosmetics and scents. I have eaten the gu puds and brownies, so i now have to buy more. I'm like this at easter. I buy easter eggs but eat them then have to buy more.cdd wrote:Not still hooked on those Gu ones?miss hellfire wrote:M&S for the pud
