Think i'm sorted now thanks. I exited acer management. The icon has gone and all channels work tickety boo If i tilt the laptop a slight South westerly.

It might also be a semi-soft switch where you press Fn (function) and one of the number keys that has a little wireless symbol on it.

I would suggest removing your internet connection for 75 years, usually woks for me.
