I could confirm that for you Sput during my visit to your part of the country in 4 weeks! ;)
How strange... I just tried to book my holiday for in 4 weeks time and, bizarrely, all flights out of Manchester are fully booked.

Good god.

Get a room!
This city has seen too many hotel room murders this year. I won't be adding another one to the list.

I want to know whether an idiot is worse than a twerp and, indeed, I've enquired directly of Gavin about whether any action was taken about his terrible, terrible word, over at the other place.

It will be interesting to compare the actions taken by the same soderator over there, over the two different words.

The dictionary (COD) gives the impression that a "twerp" is but a pale immitation of an "idiot"; and I got a formal warning for my "twerp".

Let's see how even handedly the rules get applied.

To give you a warning, Nick, is frankly blasphemous.

It does seem that those who get warnings are those with the most to offer intellectually. It does stifle debate somewhat when the flow is broken up by said idiocy.

On other forums that would get you a six-year suspension under Article 701.345 of intergalactic law.

That's right isn't it? *worried*
